Cale Birk in his Learning Nation blog called on educators to take
10 pictures of their schools to share our learning environment. Here are my 10, taken in the different seasons of the year. As the admin at school don't really approve of my blog, I am deliberately not including the name of the school here.
Main entrance
Playground
Middle School corridor with art display
Outside the Middle School
Early Years Playground
Pre-School building
Playground
Smaller campus where I teach one day each week
Balcony outside the staff room
Statues outside the Grade 3 classroom
If the beauty of your surroundings and seemingly support of the aesthetics is woven in the learning environment of your school, I would like to learn there...though am curious (and possibly cautious about the idea/concern of your admin not "approving of your blogging"...I'm an admin and wish more of my staff would blog! Thanks for the photos!
ReplyDeleteWow! I hope you know how lucky you are! That is absolutely gorgeous. I have a faint view of the Rocky Mountains out my window that I love... But this is amazing! It looks like a university campus would here in Canada!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your wonderful work. What a shame you are being bullied by people who are held back by their lack of understanding about 21C learning!! Your learning community is very fortunate to have you there.
